Question / Help Crashing on Startup.

Haven't used OBS in a few weeks now, have been on vacation.

Just bought a new webcam and tried to plug her in and play, and I'm getting a crash on start up, no matter if I unplug my new webcam or not. Figured I'd come here and ask for help! Thanks.

Thanks Harold, that didn't help but it did need updating!

I just discovered my graphics drivers are several revisions behind. I'll update those then get back to you!

Edit::

@Archangel I believe I read somewhere that 2 cores just isn't enough for OBS to play with. You might need stronger hardware. If you want to stream and game on the same PC, a processor with 12+ threads is a good choice.

Edit 2:: The Update Edit!

@Harold Unfortunately updating both RivaTuner and my graphics drivers didn't end up fixing my issues. I'm at a slight loss right now, but I'll keep looking for things that might need updating. All of the windows updates are good. My webcam drivers are good, and it IS working. I found that out using Skype.

Edit 3::

I added a new crash report. Not sure if anything has changed, it seems to be all the same.

But that shouldn't cause a crash on load. Im only going to be recording on this PC, waiting for the custom build to stream

@Archangel I'm just parroting what I've read from googling my issues, don't mind me.

As for solving what I've got, I'm going to reformat my disks. I've needed to for some time now, and I've had a fresh copy of windows waiting. Let's go >:)

@Harold Whoops, no I didn't. Everything is working fine now that I've reformatted my drive. It was about time for it anyway.

Thanks for your help :)

@Archangel your issue is not the same as the original poster.
Your issue is that your system is below minimum system requirements for obs.

I am switching to an I5 3.2Ghz PSU with GTX 650 2GB GPU that should be suffice right?
The I5 says its quad core but the guy a the PC shop says its dual core hyperthread but it shows 4 cores, that sound right?
