Question / Help Crashing consistently since Windows 10 Update

Hi,

OBS Studio has been crashing on me ever since a Windows update I recently got.

The log is https://obsproject.com/logs/cJPO6DMYRXZvxgIf

I don't know if it will show any errors. The client just freezes on me and I have to force close it. It does not force close immediately either. I have to spam the X button to get it to finally close down.

In addition, I use a Razer Ripsaw capture card to capture my PS4 and XB1 consoles. Once OBS crashes on me, it will no longer capture my console until I reboot my computer. This happens anywhere from one to five times a day.

Any advise?

I've seen this log message associated with problems with the StreamDeck plugin. Does this happen if you remove that?

Thanks for the answer!

I do use StreamDeck. I don't remember it being a plugin exactly. I have it installed as a separate app on my pc. I'll give it a try for a bit but Stream Deck has become something I use on a regular basis even for non streaming.

As far as the stutters link, I just updated Windows 2 - 3 days ago and it's still up to date. This issue started happening ever since the update. Do I need to wait for an update to the Stream Deck?

The link is also a little confusing. At the top it recommends to leave Gaming Mode enabled but all the instructions below are how to disable it.

StreamDeck installs a plugin in order for it to work with OBS. Your log suggests that something in their software isn't playing nice with Windows anymore.

Game mode can safely be left on if you're using Version 1809 of Windows or later. The name of the page dates from an earlier version where the feature was broken and needed to be disabled for good OBS performance.
