I have a scene created that has a camera on my face and one on my hands. It sometimes crashes I can usually fix it and plug in one cam at a time while obs is open. Having a scene with just one has not caused the issue.
It happened a few Min ago I managed to get a pic of what it does.https://photos.app.goo.gl/YFCPqOKKTjB22f5x1
The Web Cams are Logitech hd720p
My pc is a CyberPowerPC Gamer Ultra GUA580 Gaming PC with
AMD FX-4300,
2TB HDD,
8GB DDR3 RAM,
AMD Radeon RX460 (2gb ram) - Drivers updated.
Windows 10

Thanks for your help. I love the software. It is fairly easy to use and streams and records very smoothly when the settings get set.

Crash report* note It locks up before shutting down I have no idea if the report was actually created. https://hastebin.com/vituzeduva So I looked and it is not creating a log report when it crashes the computer. the log report attached is from - 2018-03-04, 12:58:38 - it is the only one.
I have looked at the memory.dmp file and it is a GB.
I looked at the event viewer and there were permission issues at the same time so i am going to try run as an admin.

So it did not crash this time. However it does not mean it wont I will leave the ticket open and open close OBS and specifically the Scene with the 2 web cams. It would sometimes work for a try or 2 and crash the pc 5 x in a row.I'll update in a day or 2.

It Continues to crash the computer the only work around I have found is to unplug one of the webcams and plug it in after obs loads the scene then open the camera properties to initialize it. I've run memory and HD scans as well as ensuring drivers are fully up to date.

Hey Viccallan

I have not got a definitive answer for you but from what I can gather (from trying to resolve my own problem) is that it is more the Loigtech Drivers that are conflicting on Launch rather than OBS and I think others start OBS with 1 plugged in add the other once loaded.

I'm pretty sure the Developers are working on something further down the line but while there is a workaround it;s not any time soon

Hope this helps

The crash log is from copy/paste filters issue it was resolved, just wait for new OBS Studio release. If you have any new, please post them too.

If PC ends up at BSOD, you can try to:

So I have been trying hard to work with Logitech about this issue and this was the most recent response for them.
"Upon checking details, LWS won't be able to accommodate 2 webcams and have them controlled. You can try to find a 3rd party software that can do this feature but LWS can only control 1 webcam at a time.

Please let us know if further assistance is needed."
Well me being, well me, said thanks for passing the buck that that is awesome customer service. So this is the official response about using 2 logitech webcams.
