Question / Help Crash on startup

Hello, I have an issue with OBS (And Sony Vegas) crashing apparently due to d3d9.dll.

It crashes on startup, I didn't even get to run it once. The most surprising thing is the fact that I was having the same issue with Vegas, then reinstalled the system clean two days ago, and seems I still have it, both on Vegas and OBS.

My PC specs - i5 4670k 3.8 CPU, AMD Radeon R9 390X 8GB GPU, 8gigs of RAM, Windows 10 Home 64-bit. My drivers are up to date.

I'm pretty new when it comes to OBS, and googling didn't help me much, could you explain, please?

How did you check that your drivers are up to date?

Checked through AMD Radeon Settings program, just in case downloaded an updater from AMD website, even though I literally did a clean OS install 3 days ago.

Installed both the latest release and the 1.9.9.6 version from the link you posted, still crashing.

Also, try this solution: WINDOWS 10 OBS CRASH (move enc-amf.dll to other place to disable plugin). Maybe this thread has useful info too:Studio x64 Fails to load/Errors

Now I'll need to find a fix for Vegas, but I guess that's for another forum.
