Bug Report Crackling Sound With Hauppauge HD PVR 2

I recently updated to OBS Studio 0.13.1 from 0.12.3 and now there is often a crackling sound in my game audio that wasn't there before. I discovered at first that OBS just doesn't like it when my PS3 switch resolutions during a game change and caused bad audio, but today during a stream it also seems like it would randomly cut in and out with crackly, stuttery audio for no reason. but it seems like it switched back and forth.

I'll switch back to 0.12.4 for now, but i hope this helps improve OBS!

With those HDPVR's sometimes simply unplugging and replugging those buggers will fix your issue. This happens when I am not using OBS. Just a tip try it and get back asap with results.

The devs are aware of the issue. It seems to happen mostly to Elgato and Hauppauge users. Check out the thread here, one of the devs has a beed on the issue and a fix should be available soon:
