Crackling Audio (Max audio buffering)

Hello,

I have the problem with crackling audio...
and its been there for a while at random times.
It doesn't fix itself.
i have to delete and re add the capture card source for it to work properly again.
And it only happens on the capture card video source.

Does anyone have an idea?

22:35:07.778: Max audio buffering reached!
22:35:07.779: adding 960 milliseconds of audio buffering, total audio buffering is now 960 milliseconds (source: Video opname-apparaat)
22:35:07.779:
22:35:07.795: Source Video opname-apparaat audio is lagging (over by 1725.78 ms) at max audio buffering. Restarting source audio.

What capture card? Some are good and expensive; others are cheap junk. Made by a brand that actually cares about customer loyalty, or just thrown together to sell cheap with no expectation of repeat business or returns because they're so cheap.

The capture card is a 4k60 mk2 from elgato.
i was considering maybe upgrading to the newer one but i'm not sure if it would help...

Elgato is usually good. I'd be surprised if that's it.

What does the crackling actually sound like? Is it like a buffer skip? Or something too loud and clipping/distorting? Something else?
A recording would be good.

HAGS is enabled, disable it. Also your Distro/NDI install has a conflict. There's more issues but here's a start.
