Question / Help Cracking Microphone.

Hello there, i signed up specificly for this.

I never used to have this issue before, but since going over from windows 7 to windows 8.1 my Microphone Sound Capture seems to started cracking whilst streaming to twitch.

I am using Microsoft Lifecam with the latest drivers, however also tried it with a Headset, and on both occasions it seems to crack.

And yes i tried every single thing in the book, uninstall webcam, lower quality, going mono, however it also happens with a normal microphone jacket in with a jack in the back and front.

Please help me out, am at a lost.

Are you using VAC? (Virtual Audio Cable)

Sounds the same when my total buffer (ms) or latency is not setup or synced correctly.

Also, consider if your sound drivers up to date.

Righty, i just purchased a new headset Turtle Beach Earforce X12, and it has the exact same issue.

I tried to use VAC but for some reason it wont allow sound out only in :S so whenever i have my setup on the speakers, they can hear me but i can not hear them :S

I Fixed the issue.

Appearently it was the push to talk function, as i was using an xbox360 controller with the x button as push to talk.
Now i have it voice activated on both obs and teamspeak, and it is clear as day now.
