Question / Help Cpu usage gradually goes up and up while streaming

Hello,
I am currently having a problem with obs where my cpu usage goes from 3% to about 15% over the course of a livestream. I don't record in the background and I use nvenc encoder. I did not have this problem last week, but all of a sudden i am getting higher cpu usage. I already tried uninstalling and reinstalling with no luck.

I don't really see any issues in this log. Are you experiencing any problems, or are you just concerned about the CPU usage? It's likely the most recent nvidia drivers changed something that is causes a slight increase in CPU usage, though hard to say what that could be. I wouldn't worry too much about it.

has to do with NVenc using software (on CPU not GPU anymore) for ReferenceFrames now -> improves quality but adds quiet a chunk to CPU load

I am just experiencing frame rate dips on the stream my game still plays perfect.

Is there anyway on counter it or lower my cpu usage because it was working fine last week.

Try disabling nvidia's own Share/Shadowplay and see if that helps. We've heard reports it's been causing issues recently.
