If i start OBS as a 64bit application, my browser sources for streamlabs (alert and chat) are not displaying and my taskmanager shows me the following issue as well:

As you can see, the cpu usage for the process is very high.

Starting OBS as 32bit application solves the issue completely. In the images below obs is displaying the same scene.

I have uninstalled obs and deleted the settings folder by hand. Reinstalling obs did not fix the issue for me. Any suggestions?

Edit: Just ran youtube.com over the browsersource plugin and it didn't load in 64bit at all but kept at 15% cpu usage. Using the 32bit OBS youtube loaded with 1.7% cpu usage just fine and was smooth. :(

Quick Update: The issue starts with 19.0.2.
After reverting back to a clean install of 19.0.1 the issue is resolved. Updating back to 19.0.3 (or making a clean reinstall) triggers the same stuff again. Seems something broke with 19.0.2?

I'm running COMODO Firewall 10 and Windows Defender. Even with a deactivated firewall the issue remains.

It wouldn't be the first time Comodo broke something, though a) I would expect it to break other versions as well and b) in the past there was no straightforward fix as disabling Comodo doesn't actually turn everything off.

I uninstalled Comodo and the issue is now resolved. Thx for the tip. Its not like i checked the freaking firewall if all the components are actually allowed to have access or not.... well - time to find another firewall solution. Thx though. :)

Do you really need a third-party firewall? The default Windows firewall is more than sufficient for most people, you would probably be better served by installing some lightweight protection like Malwarebytes instead.

Either way, glad you were able to fix the issue.

I think the reason why would derail the thread, but i am usually running a firewall, antivirus and spybot search&destroy. Thanks for the help though. Much appreciated. :)
