Hello,
Thank you for opening (and reading) this thread :)
I want to record simple "face cam" videos (with a Sony Alpha 6000) in Full HD (1920 x 1080) 24 FPS + record screen in screencast mode + be in the same time in video call with Zoom and all this by doing the "live editing" (without any post production) with OBS Studio.
At this moment, I don't need to strem but I need some CPU (and GPU?) power because I'd like the final video to be high quality, almost as if I had directly recorded in the memory card of the Sony A6000 when in reality the signal was sent to the PC and OBS did the editing + encoding of the video.
I should clarify that I'm not a gamer (I don't need the same power as a video game player) but a simple little content creator who makes screen-cast tutorials and face-camera videos and who doesn't want to do post-production editing, but "live editing" thanks to OBS.
On the other hand, I may soon have to live stream (via OBS) my videos captured while Zoom is running, which I use to inlay another Zoom conference participant's camera.
I have tested with 3 computers and (even without opening Zoom in parallel) I can't get a smooth video with quality rendering. By setting to x264 (encoder) and "veryfast" (CPU usage preset) I get a smooth video but not usable because of the image quality...
