I have been trying to do some recordings of games with OBS and it is using up all my CPU. More intensive games like Farming Simulator it will overload and when I play it back the recordings are all choppy. browser flash games I don't really have any problems with tho and CPU is like 20-30%. When I'm not recording my cpu is at about 2-5%.
My PC specs are Windows 10 pro, AMD FX-8350 eight core processor (4 GHz), AMD Radeon HD7800, 16 GB ram.
In OBS I have output resolution 1920x1080 (don't want less or it looks bad)
Bilinear filter, video bitrate 2500 (not sure what this means),
Recording quality Indistinguishable quality (any less looks awful)
Also, when I am streaming on twitch it my computer will either freeze or shut down after a few minutes.
