Hey there,

first of all my specs:

  • OS: Windows 8.1 pro
  • CPU: Intel I7-2600K
  • GPU: Nvidia GTX 570 OC
  • RAM: 16 GB DDR3-1333
  • Mainboard: Gigabyte Z68XP-UD3
  • ISP: KabelBW 50mbit down - 5mbit up

http://imgur.com/a/sEWrJ#0 <- here are the screenshots of my obs settings (its in german SRY)

to my problem: as soon as i start to stream, my latency starts to jump around +-25ms (and i dont even use 50% of my upload). Thats quite a problem for such an ping heavy game.... Do you know any fixes? btw. i even lowered the bitrate to 1500. same sh*t :(

looking forward to your suggestions!

Counter Strike: Global Offensive and OBS are having some serious, various issues in the past few days. Not sure about your exact issue or how to fix it, but just reassuring you that you're not the only one experiencing issues. For me, I have a black screen / minimizing issue, others have in game lag issues / choppy stream issues, and now you with the in game latency issues.

CSGO and OBS don't have any issues, all the things you are saying aren't game specific.

ok got that problem finally fixed.

Solution was: Latency tuning factor to 30 and minimize network impact option

BUT i have another question:

My FPS ingame get reduced from around ~350 all the way down to ~200. I would like to use quicksync (i read that it would increase the fps by lowering the cpu usage), but i always get a 2nd mouse cursor on my screen - and thats pretty annoying.

does it make sense to upgrade my GPU or rather a new CPU?
