Bug Report Could not get DXGI adapter

Hello,
I use OBS on windows server 2008 R2

I get the error message "Could not get DXGI adapter"

How could I fix the error.

It's so sad,the method is fail.

I updata SERVER 2008 SP1 and I install "Windows6.1-KB2670838-x64.msu" but the error message still same "Could not get DXGI adapter"

Have anyone the same question ?

You need service pack 2 as well

1.) download service pack 2 for vista.
2.) download this update from microsoft: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/971512
3.) run the directx web update here: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download ... aspx?id=35

Sorry,My OS is Win Server 2008 "R2"
1.)I had installed "Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (KB976932)"
2.)Win server 2008 R2 have not the SP2 version
3.)When I installed SP 2 for vista(KB948465：Windows Server 2008 Service Pack 2 and Windows Vista Service Pack 2),it's fail
4.) KB971512 was not sucessed installing.

Could OBS run on Win Server 2008 "R2" version ?

Ah, sorry, I was mistaken, I didn't properly read one of your prior posts mentioning the operating system. It should run fine on windows server, but I do believe you need some specific update. If it's not the one that r1ch pointed you to, it might be another, I'm not entirely sure.

It's entirely possible DXGI isn't available on a server OS too.

If I cancel the function,can obs run ? (rebulid) (I only want to the input is capture card)
