Hello.

I just downloaded OBS to use for streaming some games of League of legends on Twitch.tv but I always run into this error when I click on start streaming. Is there a fix for this?

Make sure the latest drivers are installed, the HD 3000 should work. In general integrated chips can be problematic though.

Do you know where I can get the latest drivers? Also, I got the chip inbuilt on my laptop and not from outside if thats what integrated means. (Im not too good with laptops :P).

I ran smack into the same error message. ( https://www.dropbox.com/s/52vs52ikdmjm933/no-dx10.png )

I'm on a Toshiba Satellite L305D laptop, with an integrated ATI Radeon X1250 chipset. I'm also running DirectX 11, according to dxdiag. (Proof: https://www.dropbox.com/s/zxcv0qeh5r7o2ez/dxdiag.png )
(GPU-Z data: https://www.dropbox.com/s/jshwn89yk0fyeg4/gpu-info.gif )

OS is Windows 7 Professional, with SP1. AMD Turion X2 CPU and 4 GB of RAM to work with.

EDIT: As best as I can tell, I'm running the latest and final Windows drivers for the Radeon. AMD apparently dropped support for the hardware a few years back.

Since integrated chipsets are known to be problematic, I may be chasing a dead end ... but can anyone suggest a solution to try?

The safest bet would be the support site for your laptop. Which obviously can be found on the manufacturer's website.

i got the same error but one of the things it said could be the cause was: your GPU is not supported (DireectX 10 support is required - many integrated laptop GPUs do not support DX10) my questions is how to i make it support DX10?

If you get this error and you do have a laptop with an AMD/nvidia, then you need to go into AMD/nvidia control panel and make sure that they make OBS run on your "performance" GPU instead of the intel. The particular intel chips you guys have do not support essential features that OBS currently requires. It may be fixed in the (semi-distant) future however.
