I know this question has been posed many times, but unfortunately I couldn't find a solution that seemed to fit my situation since it seems a lot of people all had different specifics and what not. I am receiving the well-known error message,
"Could not create D3D10 device and swap chain" whenever I click preview stream or start stream. I have downloaded the newest version of DirectX and here are my computer specifics:

I can stream 720p no problem on Xsplit. I just want to get obs to work for the better audio. Any help or step by step instruction on what I can do to resolve this issue would be awesome!!

Thanks in advance,

Your picture unfortunately doesnt show any Sony Vaio Modell Informations. Your CPU has an integrated Intel Graphics Chip which probably does not support D3D10 completely. Only newer Intel HD 3000/4000 series chips can do this (Your CPU has a Series 1 chip).
Now if you have a NVidia or AMD graphics on board which you can switch on in your laptop, you could work with this. If not, there is no current way to use OBS on that Laptop.

Not as far as I know. The reason OBS works so well is because it is using features of DirectX 10 that your GPU is missing. Adding support for those GPUs would defeat the purpose.
