Question / Help Could I use an Edited Video for Streaming?

You can add videos to OBS as Media Sources, and/or with VLC installed as VLC Video Sources. OBS really isn't meant for streaming pre-recorded content though; it's a live video production tool, not a dead-file video jukebox.

Thank you very much. I get it to use OBS as Media Source. But what is VLC? A plug-in or ...?

VLC is an open-source video player program. If it's installed in the default location, OBS will detect it and be able to use its video playback core, providing more functions and smoother playback on certain types of video files when using the 'VLC Video' source type. You can download it for free from https://www.videolan.org/
