Corrupted FLV due to low disk space error

I was recording a video (FLV) and suddenly I got the low disk space error on OBS. I tried to stop the recording but it got stuck on "Stopping Recording". After a while I closed the program and got a file that cannot be open by anything I've tried. It takes a lot of time to even right click and copy so my guess is that it's somewhat corrupted. I've tried the remux option in OBS and it says "Recording remuxed, but the file may be incomplete" with no output file anywhere. I've tried importing the file into Sony Vegas, Premiere and several other recovery programs and websites but I've had no luck so far.

This is an important video I'd very much like to not lose so any help is appreciated.

Do you cleaned up space on that drive meanwhile? For instance delete old unused data in other spaces/directories.

If your drive is still full, then its normally that windows lasts on right-click onto a file, especiall if its a big one. And remux will fail too, if your drive is still full. How big is your file?

You made an external backup of the file, i hope. Can VLC player open it at least?

I did some clean up but OBS was closed before finishing the process. My file is around 7GB. I saved the file to a different disk and windows still takes some time to handle the file. VLC can't open the file either and the fix feature doesn't work.

I don't use flv for myself, but give it a try: There is a free software named "FLVMDI" or "FLV MetaData Injector" available in the net. Its special purpose is to heal flv files...

Thank you for your reply. Unfortunately I already tried this one out but it didn't work. It just says "An error occurred".
