I used to record my gameplay with obs just for fun, but after resetting my computer the sound is (as described by many people) hollow. I have checked multiple threads and figured out 2 things:
1. My headset uses surround sound, which OBS appearently cannot pick up properly
2. My AAC encoder is not installed
After learning this i installed it in many different ways, like fully installing iTunes, extracting the Apple Audio Support from the iTunes setup and installing that, using lessmsi and putting the folder into the C/ProgrammFiles(x86) directly (as mentioned in the comments here: https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/obs-studio-enable-coreaudio-aac-encoder-windows.32826/ ). No matter what i did the encoder never got found.
I also checked if i even had surround sound enabled in my settings, which i do not.
I have no Idea what else to do, but i hope i can get an answer here.
My latest log file is included.
