Control OBS via Powerpoint

I found several Tutorials and Scripts online to mange the following: By typing a scene-description into the slide-notes of powerpoint a script will automatically switch the scenes in obs according to the description in the slide-notes. This is a total game changer. you'd be able to control obs via powerpoint just by clicking the next slide. Unfortunately those scripts are all for Windows. Did anyone of you guys came across a solution for Mac Os X? Thx

Here's what I'm doing, using Keynote, but it should work for PowerPoint too:
I have a different-colored strip along the left edge of each type of slide. Play the slideshow in a window. Screen Capture of that window is cropped so the color strip isn't visible on stream.
Advanced Scene Switcher macros use color recognition, targeted to that left edge an inch or so from the top -- this avoids the window size affecting whether the color strip is within the target area. Different colors trigger different scenes, different mics to be muted or not, camera angles, etc.
