Constantly asking for an update

Whenever I launch OBS, it always asks for permission to update. I always give it permission, but it never updates. I have a feeling this is the reason I cant capture rainbow 6 siege using game capture, so id really like for this problem to be fixed.

The popup doesn't start an update, it only points to the fact that one is available and lists its new features and improvements. You'd have to download and install the new version yourself. Or not... in that case you could decide to click Skip this version.
Please note that a new major version of OBS Studio is expected soon, so you will experience that popup once more in the near future.
