Bug Report Constant disconnecting

OBS was working fine until about 2 or 3 hours ago. It would consistently disconnect. I realized there was an update so I closed the program to let it update, but the problem is still persisting. Here is my log:

Hey there Moo,

Saw your post here, and just wanted to jump in. I've been experiencing the same kind of issues for a little while now with using (I believe) both .51 and .52 versions of OBS 32 bit. To be honest, I haven't really tried other solutions other than changing upload servers (going from the Ashburn server to the Chicago server), and I have still been experiencing some disconnections.

One thing I noticed in your logs though is that you are being disconnected because the server is not recognizing the stream key or that the channel is invalid.

I have seen some people correct this issue with resetting your stream key and putting the new stream key in OBS or xsplit and seeing how that works. Head to twitch.tv/broadcast and give it a shot. I have yet to try this solution for myself and see how that works, but I can write back when I do try it out. Best of luck.

An update to the situation listed from before, trying to do a dark souls cast tonight resulted in a few disconnects over a couple hour period. Some casts lasted as long as 10 mins, one segment lasted 30 mins. So, unfortunately, resetting the stream key was not the issue for me. I need to go through the logs, but I think what might be the problem is that there is a bottleneck with the bandwidth I currently have and streaming with and others using internet causing fluctuations in the streaming speed. That's my only guess now, I'll keep looking for more possibilities and testing them.

Another quick update, I noticed when I was working with settings last night that I had the original server selected when these problems started to appear with keeping a connection. That server is the Ashburn, VA (secondary) server. I had it selected because it had the best results when testing the ping. I don't remember experiencing many disconnects with this server selected before, but they have been going on for about 3 or 4 weeks now with that server. I thought I changed it to the Chicago server, but I did not, so we'll see how that works.

Back with another update. Decided to uninstall and reinstall OBS and started using the 64 bit version since I do have Windows 7 64Bit, so I figured why not. Did another night of Dark Souls last night and actually worked out very well. Although I did have a segment end after 10 mins (that's with the chicago, IL server), I immediately switched to a physically closer server, regardless of the ping results, which happened to be the new york server. After starting again, I managed to stay on for a consecutive 2h and 30min. Just got lucky or an actual solution, not sure at this point, but was nice to see.

So here's a rundown of what I did if it will help anyone else:

1) Resetted stream key - still disconnected
2) Changed upload server (Ashburn to Chicago) to another server with a similar ping, but still physically distant from my location - Still disconnected
3) Uninstalled and Reinstalled OBS - still disconnected
4) Using 64 Bit instead of 32 Bit - still disconnected
5) Changing server to physically closer location - Stayed connected entire time
