Bug Report Constant Crashing - libx264-130.dll

Hey guys,

Just started trying to use OBS today. I haven't been able to capture more than ~30 seconds of any application, screen, anything at all. My log is posted below. I have searched this problem and it is not on the known bug list. I have enabled CFR, disabled it, and fiddled with pretty much every setting I can find to no avail.

I have no overclock on either my processor or my graphics card. I have the latest drivers for both. My CPU is an FX-8320 and my GPU is an xfx 7870 Ghz edition. I have 8 gb of RAM, though a 32 bit OS so sadly only 4 gb is available so far.

Any thoughts?

Thanks!

Edit: After a bunch more googling and hoping, it looks like some computers just have an issue with x264 encoding. Its certainly not the program - xsplit, FFsplit, and this program all give basically the same errors about the encoding. Sorry for dashing anyone else's hopes. I'm reinstalling now with a 64 bit OS and gonna re-install everything and try again.

Any ideas for fixes, though, are still welcome.

Well, over last night I wiped and reinstalled my OS, and I've had it recording for ~20 minutes so far (longest stream I could have last night was under 30 seconds) and it hasn't failed, so my x264 problems might be fixed. I'm going to let it run for a few more hours today and see if it crashes.

If I do have this issue again I will definitely come try your test builds, though. Thanks so much for trying to fix this problem for everyone.
