Console audio stops broadcasting on stream after 1-3 hours

I've been having an issue with my OBS where after a while streaming (usually around 2 hours), my console audio stops broadcasting. The video output is fine and keeps going, but the sound completely cuts out, leaving just my computer microphone audio.

My setup is an xbox one, plugged into my laptop via a generic Amazon Capture Card (https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B08SBTK4QH/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1). I then have a separate USB mic plugged into my laptop to capture my audio for the stream. I use a headset plugged into my xbox controller to hear the xbox sound myself.

The stream works for usually for around 2 hours and then the console sound cuts off completely. I can still hear everything fine through my headset plugged into my xbox controller, but there is no audio from the xbox registered in OBS and nothing on the stream. The audio bars on OBS don't register any audio from the xbox either. My USB mic still broadcasts fine.

Any ideas what the issue is here? I'm new to this so it's perfectly possible I've got some basic setting totally wrong! I've had a search around and can't find a solution. Any help really appreciated.

OBS is losing connection to the streaming server. This can be caused by a problem with your local network, with your ISP, throttling, or a problem with the platform
Idk I can’t think of a way to help but that is the cause most likely

Thanks for the reply! If OBS is losing connection to the streaming server, wouldn't that also cut out the video as well? Seems strange that it's only cutting out the audio from one source?
