Bug Report "Connect account" button missing

I just used the builtin updater to update from 22.0.2 to 23.0.3 seemingly without error. However the option to connect to Twitch is missing from below the stream key field.

I think I had the same issue when upgrading on another PC, which I resolved by a thorough uninstall and reinstall, but now I'm more keen to know why this happens.
 
The connect account functionality depends on the browser source. If you installed OBS without the browser source (back when it was optional) the updater won't install it for you - you'll need to install OBS again to get it.

i have the same issue on macbook pro. i am a new user. i downloaded OBS yesterday 25.0.8. There is no connect account button for twitch . I wanna connect this way so i can add the Chat feature in view >docks.

is this a glitch ?
