Question / Help connect 2 IP cams with OBS

Hi,

I've tried the search here and on google, but nothing really answered my question. Here is what i wanna do: I want to connect two IP cameras (HIKVISION) to OBS and stream or record their picture side by side. I already got it working with two webcams.

For these cameras are Directshow filters available and I think thats what I need to make the work with OBS. Here is the link to the drivers: http://www.hikvision.com/en/us/download_more.asp?id=1119

I downloaded and installed it, but what now? Do I need to start some extra software or how can I connect them?

My other solution was to try the "Video source plugin". I downloaded and moved it into the "plugins" folder of OBS, but it doesn't show up in the plugins. Am I missing something to do here?

I hope someone can help me, because OBS is very simple and perfect for my old laptop :)

I've been testing streaming with an IP cam using this solution: http://ip-webcam.appspot.com/
However I don't know if it will work with your cam. And I don't think you can use 2 cams at the same time.
You have to know the IP-adress of your cam. Maybe it can be found her:
http://www.ispyconnect.com/man.aspx?n=HIKVISION

hi. thanks for the tip. the cameras IP adresses are no problem. i will test the software, but do you have any experience with the OBS video source plugin?

No I do not have any experince with that plugin. Please notice that you need more than the ip address - you need the entire address to catch the steam ( eg tsp://IPADDRESS:551//Streaming/Channels/1 ). Thats what you need either the sdk of your camera or http://www.ispyconnect.com/man.aspx?n=HIKVISION to find.
