Confusing Audio Mixer Issue (Pioneer XDJ-RX3 -> OBS)

*This is for streaming a DJ set on Twitch via OBS*

Hi all

Spoken to a lot of people about this and no one can seem to figure it out.
I'm hoping someone in here will have experienced something like this and be able to point me to a fix.

I tried streaming yesterday and during my test I found that my audio input capture was picking up the audio from my microphone but not the music that is playing from the decks...

I run my Pioneer XDJ-RX3 through a Focusrite Scarlett Solo (via Line 1 XLR and Line 2 1/4in) , both through XLR in the back of the XDJ-RX3. Scarlett Solo is plugged into laptop via USB. Microphone is plugged into the XDJ-RX3 directly via XLR.

The fact that the Audio Input Capture is picking up the microphone but not the music is baffling, as the microphone's source is the DJ Controller but it is also the DJ Controller that isn't being picked up by the Audio Input Capture (if that makes any sense).

This has never happened before. The only thing that has changed is that I am using a different laptop as my old laptop died... I'm wondering if there is a setting on OBS that may need changing...
I don't think it is the Audio Input Capture, otherwise it wouldn't pick up the microphone....I went through all audio settings I could see.
There is nothing different with the XDJ-RX3 and I haven't changed anything on it since the last time I streamed.

If anyone has any ideas I am open to any suggestion as I have tried everything.
Many thanks.

Yo did you ever get a reply on any other forum about this?

Could be that the mic is panned hard to one side, as is OBS, so that only that channel gets through.

Or, you could have a big mismatch in gain between the Solo's two different types of input. So the other channel is technically there, but softer. Normally, you'd want the same type for both channels, just to be sure that that doesn't happen.

I also noticed, on the DJ controller's product page, that it has a USB port. What does that do? Can you use it to bypass the Focusrite entirely?
