Hi, my video configurations are blocked. I can not to set my recording folder, the kind of codec and resolution. how to reset my OBS?

Yes, the same mistake happens to me.
Video, output and even language settings.
The alert message says: The video output is currently active. Please turn off any outputs to change the video settings.
I'm not recording.
I'm not broadcasting.

Please help us

Hello Monserrat, I managed to solve it!
If you are using the Virtual cam plugin you should stop.
So I hope your settings are unlocked.

I had the same problem. I use NDI Virtual Input and send my output there from OBS.

To be able to adjust the Preferences, I needed to go into the menu "Tools -> NDI™ Output Settings" and disable the Main Output. Then I could change the preferences and go back and enable the Main Output again.
