As title says, computer will crash while streaming Dota 2 and immediately restart. OBS shows no crash logs but it only occurs specifically while streaming Dota 2. The stream may last anywhere from 2 to 8 hours until computer crashes to immediately restart. Event logs in OBS shows no faults but neither does the Windows event log (except for the random restart). I used to be able to stream without problems with this same setup as well.
I don't overclock my hardware (980 GX TI, i5 quad core, 8 GB RAM).
It is not an overheating issue as the computer would be hot, temperature would be detected somehow, and the computer would not immediatley restart.
There are no detected faults in memory or RAM using Linx and memcheck.
I've even reformatted my computer from scratch with only OBS and steam and it still happens. Since I can play Dota with hours on end I can only presume OBS is at fault. Computer repairman agrees that it must be software based.
I am desperate at this point, don't know what could be going on. Any guesses?
