Compression Filter (Ducking) Not Working

Hi,

I set up ducking for my output sources, like this: https://i.imgur.com/kxQt1H4.jpeg
Then I recorded my desktop while playing some music and speaking something over my MIC.

Opened the vid on Davinci Resolve and this is what I see: https://i.imgur.com/ZI4QanG.jpg
As you can see, the music on top stays pretty much at the same volume when I speak, so I don't understand why it's not working.

Turns out I had to lower the threshold because my MIC is quite low. Now it looks better and I can see the variation in music volume.
Wondering if there's a way to rise MIC volume above 0.0 DB.
