Completely Clueless Beginner

So I'm having trouble, and I don't really know what to do? My friend said to "mess with my settings" but I don't really know where to begin. When I tried to record some gameplay, the audio recorded just fine, but watching it back it was basically a slide show, only changing frames like once a minute. What settings should I even be messing with? And how?

A more generic hint: NEVER mess with settings. Otherwise it WILL BE a mess. ;-) Even the method trial&error can be done in an ordered manner. For instance changing one parameter/setting a time, then do short tests, if it makes it better or worsen the things. Note the result.

We could try to help out a bit, if you encounter specific issues and well expressed questions, and upload a log. It should contain the time you had a recording. The best thing is: Start obs, record a gameplay (with your issues persist), stop recording, close obs, re-open obs, upload "last log" from the menu:

Alright, I tried to do that but now it's not even letting me record. So different problem now, but here's the log for it anyway. I've had this one for a bit, but I've found that if I shut everything down and start all over, there's a 40% chance that'll fix it. So I just keep shutting everything down over and over until it fixes it lol

Your system seems to be very lean. But 720p30 is a good starting point.
There seem to be serious problems with your graphics driver. While you have AMD hardware, the AMF (AMD Media Framework) in OBS couldn't connect:
[AMF] <Id: 3> Unable to initialize converter, error AMF_OPENCL_FAILED (code 19)

Sorry, i don't have AMD for myself. So wait for other answers here regarding this, or try to google for such issue (or even search here in the forum). I'm sure that you're not alone.
