Complete audio loss when opening OBS

I'm having MAJOR issues with my new build, its a Ryzen 9 5900x, x570-e mobo and a gigabyte 3080, and im using a SoundblasterX G6 DAC with a pair of Sennheiser DT990Pros. every single software i use works perfectly with my DAC/PC, However obs causes a crackling sound with my audio and then a few seconds later it just cuts out entirely, HOWEVER i can switch to my speakers and the audio continues perfectly. i assume my issue then lies between my DAC and OBS but not 100% sure, can anyone help? Sorry for the long winded

I'm going through the same issues... AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, Gigabyte x570 Aorus Elite mobo, RTX 3070, soundblasterx g6 DAC, Beyerdynamic dt880s. Its definitely between the soundblasterx g6 and OBS but I'm leaning more to OBS issues because if I pull the usb for the soundblasterx g6 and let it resync sound momentarily comes back then disconnects again...
