Question / Help Color Key feature is missing in OBS in Linux?

Hi:

Installed OBS in Ubuntu 14.04 with OpenGL 4.4. But I could not figure out any color key (chroma key) adjustment like in the windows version for video inputs.

Or did I miss something? Thanks!

Very much agree. Been trying to sort out how to do a follow notification, can make nightdev's screen pop up, even used stylish to make the background black so it "seems" transparent depending on how I layout my stream, but would MUCH rather have a color key

When can we expect OBS Multiplatform v0.9.0, Jim?
I assume its is 1-3 weeks judging by the way you work...

Thanks... another question instead of the ETA... what is the maximum time that it might take you?

...Until the heat death of the universe?

It's being worked on as the current priority, that's really as much as can be said. It's not because it's a secret, it's just that it's preferable to take a "when it's done" approach rather than promise release dates that cannot be guaranteed.

Lol didnt expect that kind of response , but anyway... Keep up the great work :P
hopefully you understand that all the developers working on OBS are doing so for gratis. They work thanklessly and tirelessly to ensure 3 different Operating systems have an awesome recording/live streaming software. Most times users just complain about this feature or that feature not working. This is the nature of an open source project, the users just need to be patient and when it's done it's done. It's a good policy not to commit to any due dates because sometimes shit happens.

I just want to say thank you, keep up the great work everyone. Without OBS I would have to use less advanced software or worse, google hangouts for my podcast and live streams.

@ubuntuaddicted I fully understand the amount of work they do... I read a huge post from one of the developers and fully understand that this is their own time and sweat that they are putting into this.
I would love to somehow help the OBS Developers and Community in some way but I can't donate to them. Don't get me wrong if I could I definitely would :D
If I do the job I want to, and start learning C and C++ I sure will help the devs...
But for now I thank you greatly for the work that you do here :P

Sorry for being a major pain asking these annoying questions I am not the most patient of people. For now I switched over to the Windows platform to stream :)

Well 0.9.0 is next up, so expect it within the next two or three weeks. The code for it is about halfway complete.
