Question / Help Color / Chroma Keying Options

Hi guys!

I'm new to OBS since I recently switched to from XSplit Broadcaster.
Today I tried setting everything up the way I used to have it in XSplit but I couldn't figure out how to set up the green screen keying options the way I need them.

Basically, I have a PowerPoint Presentation running full screen on my 3rd Monitor. It had a fully green background (0/255/0) and was used to add animations and live overlays. I had XSplit key out that shade of green and it worked to produce transparencies with darker shades of that green like (0/200/0) would be slightly transparent etc.

But I can't seem to achieve the same results with the tools provided by OBS.
To make this a little easier to understand I made this picture that shows my problem:

Take a look at the "Image Mask/Blend" filter, you should be able to achieve what you want with it (although perhaps not in exactly the same way).

I see where you're going and thanks for your quick reply!

Sadly I think, unless I'm using it incorrectly, with Image Mask/Blend I can only Mask a predefined mask. But i'd need the mask to change accordingly, on-the-fly as animations change

I'll try to explain it with some actual pictures:

Yeah, I think I get you now. And sadly I don't think you're going to be able to get the effect you want out of the existing OBS filters. In all honesty I think you got lucky in getting it out of XSplit, too.
