Coding a browser source to dynamically refresh

I've managed to code my own progress bar overlay for my surgery fundraising, and at the moment, when someone donates, I just make my bot hide and unhide the source to refresh it, but is there a way in the code to trigger it within the code to refresh without refreshing it in OBS like how various streamlabs and stream elements browser sources auto-update?

It's hard for me to follow what you're asking for, but the Advanced Scene Switcher can refresh a browser source. It can do a lot more too, in response to almost anything.

Thanks for your reply, am wondering how to actually dynamically code the actual browser source to update within the html/javascript like other browser sources do, but I suppose that's a question for javascript forums
