Hey everyone,

I don't know if anyone else experiences this, but Call of Duty: World at War crashes every time i activate OBS to record. I don't know why. I've tried it with other games, it doesn't crash. OBS doesn't crash, but the game does. Not sure if anyone can help with this, but if so, that'd be great!

Usually, when a game crashes with game capture, it means that there's another conflicting program or hook that's interfering with it. Fraps, sweetfx, and things such as teamspeak/mumble overlays are the common things that tend to cause this to happen.

I run none of those programs at the same time. The most i have up is OBS, Skype, maybe Mozilla and the game. And there is no windowed borderless option for that game. I need to screw with the scripts to get that i think and i don't remember how to do that.

Tried it in windowed mode, still doesn't work. However it was not windowed borderless mode. Just windowed mode. This is pissing me off because it didn't do this before! Like last week it worked fine. Whatttt the heck lol

I'm having this issue too. It is so frustrating as to be honest, OBS is such a better recording software. I read on here somewhere a while ago that some of the old games don't work with OBS, as it is something to do with the DirectX or something, i can't remember what they said the cause was. I too was thinking of using Windowed mode, but if it isn't working for you, it'll most likely not for me.
