Closed Captioning and Virtual Camera

Hi Everyone,
I am a museum educator who uses OBS to teach students virtually.
I am looking to expand my use of accessible tools in OBS. I am trying to close caption my lessons by having the text I say appear at the bottom of the screen as I talk. I can do this in Zoom and Teams which are approved by my institution, but I would like to see about what OBS can do.
The impression I have been getting regarding plugins is that many are for use in OBS but only during a stream.
Any suggestions or thoughts?

I was looking for a simple solution to captions and I found a free site that generates captions on the page. I then was able to capture that browser window in OBS to display the live captions at the bottom. The words aren't always perfect so if you are using OBS to record then you might consider using YouTube to add the captions after the fact. You could also edit the appearance of the caption page to have a green background and then when you capture the window you can apply a chroma key filter to remove the green background so it's just clean text that appears at the bottom of your video feed. https://webcaptioner.com/
