Question / Help Clicking "Edit Scene" does nothing

I also tried searching the forum but it wont let me.

so I just downloaded the software, and clicking "Edit Scene" does nothing, doesn't open any pop-ups or settings or anything, that means I can't add any of my global sources that I already set.

What do?

You add sources by right-clicking the Sources box and saying Add. Sources don't need to be global sources...global sources are just for sources that you want to keep loaded in memory when you switch between scenes.

The Edit Scene button is for moving and resizing sources that already have been added.

Also, as a tip: You are going to want to go to http://obsproject.com/estimator to get some estimated encoding settings...the default settings are not recommended for everyone.
