Chroma Key acts different per source.

So I've got an animated alert. uses a green screen effect so I can chroma key it. If I take the SAME media and key it locally it displays perfectly. absolutely perfect. Not even any need to adjust settings.

If I put it on a service like twitch alerts, it shows up EXACTLY the same when it's not keyed not color saturation changes. Nothing. Chroma settings are exactly the same under filters (OBS Studio) in both situations.

For the one on twitch alert via browser source, it always has a faded white haze effect. The flat green never gets entirely keyed out.

What gives? Can I fix it?

Same issue here. This is what I end up getting.

Little frustrating. Using the browser source means I don't have to *actually* use a real browser, which saves a lot of CPU and memory.

Have you tried out using Color Key? (Or are you using Color Key the entire time but naming it Chroma Key.)

Chroma Key is not really designed for images but rather live video.

Also this might be an issue with the browser source.

Went into this assuming I could just key out the background. It's a gif loaded on the page, so it's moving like a video. The background is a solid green. Tried all of the filters, tweaking everything but nothing seems to work. Pretty sure it's the browser source. Maybe the browser is capturing its own background after it's keyed out and it's a solid white?

This has already been fixed, but I can't release it until OBS Studio 0.14.0 comes out, since it contains a new texture effect I need for the fix to work.

Osiris, is there a target date for that release?

I have a similar issue with a widget that has a white background.

It doesn't obey "background-color: transparent;" in the CSS for the BrowserSource. So I've been trying to use Chroma Key for white and it does a weird semi-faded on parts of it but not much at all is removed.

The widget URL: https://widget.toornament.com/tourn...a408b456b/navigator?_locale=en_US&theme=light

The key color I'm using is #ffffffff and I adjust all of the sliders in all kinds of combinations.

I also had this problem. Tried all sorts of background options to no avail. Looking forward to the new release! :)
