Chosen category switches back to last entry after updating

Perhaps I'm just doing it wrong. When I want to change games, I also want to change categories. So I "X" out the current one and input the first few letters of the game category that I want and then choose my game from the very convenient list that pops up under the search box. I click the game, it accepts it and shows it then I click the "Done" button at the bottom of the stream information panel. That's when I see it switch back to the last game I had chosen. Then I repeat my steps and it works and does not switch back. OVER AND OVER AND OVER AND OVER ... is this happening with you all too?! surely not.

The dock that handles that is completely provided by twitch. Any inconsistencies in it updating are from them.

So basically I'm sending a packet to twitch with OBS that is not getting accepted on the first pass or something like that?
Is there another way for me to set category? Maybe directly thru their site instead of thru OBS. I only have a handful of categories I use so it would great to have a short list to pick from. Thanks for the response
