Question / Help Choppy video.

Hello I’m having an issue with OBS, when I record it runs perfectly and smoothly with no frame skipping as well as running perfectly in the preview. When I see the final video it is pretty choppy and annoying. I have an RX 5700 XT and an Ryzen 7 2700X. My cpu and gpu usage are just fine, so I’m not sure the problem. On a different game I was recording I had to set the max frame rate as 60 and it solved the choppiness, but on this game it doesn’t solve anything. My computer can handle it as it’s a pretty good PC, so I’m unsure as to what the problem is. Thanks :)

Post a logfile from a live streaming or recording session at least 30 seconds in length where the issue was occurring. We need it to troubleshoot issues like this, why it asks for one when opening a thread in the Support section.

You're not getting much rendering delay or encoding lag, but:
12:17:19.678: output 0: pos={0, 0}, size={1920, 1080}, attached=true, refresh=165, name=Sceptre M25
12:17:19.678: output 1: pos={-1920, 5}, size={1920, 1080}, attached=true, refresh=59, name=LG FULL HD
12:17:19.678: output 2: pos={-3840, 0}, size={1920, 1080}, attached=true, refresh=59, name=LG FULL HD
Chances are good you're running into the long-standing Windows mixed-refresh-rate bug. The only fix is to run all of your monitors at the same refresh rate (so 59hz) until the Windows 10 2004 patch comes out sometime later this year, or next year.
