Question / Help Choppy streaming through OBS

Hello, I would like to ask for some help, I do my live streaming on chaturbate site as I just got a new iMac, tried on OBS but it was very choppy, like skipping every 5-10 seconds, it is slower than directly using flash on the web browser. Could it be hardware, software, settings, or internet issues?

Framerate while using flash on website: 15-25 fps a bit grainy
Framerate while using OBS: 10-20 fps, not grainy but very choppy

Computer: iMac 2017
OS: Mac OS Catalina 10.15
Browser: Mozilla Firefox
OBS version: 24.0.3 (modified for Catalina)
Internet upload speed: 10-25 Mbps (speedtest site)
Webcam: Logitech c930e
Webcam software: Logitech Camera Settings
Video resolution: 1024x576

Also, I would like to know what's the best way to test internet speed for streaming?

Include a log file if you have a problem: here's how

For setup and testing, use the Auto-Configuration Wizard in the Tools menu.

I do not think there is a speed test specific to chaturbate, but I could be wrong.

Narcogen, thank you very much. I will try the auto config wizard when I go back home. For the log file, is it needed? As there isn't any crashing, please educate me if uploading logs will help in a certain way.

Stuttering can be hardware, software, settings, internet, or any combination of the above. It is impossible to answer without a logfile. The vast majority of questions regarding problems with OBS, but specifically those related to performance, cannot be answered definitively without a full logfile that from a completed output session, preferably a session of reasonable length during which the problem being asked about is experienced. That's why there is a sticky asking users to submit a logfile with all posts.

I'm sorry for haven't updated you guys since then. I think it's the internet issue. Since moving to a new place with faster internet things got solved.

But I will post another thread again since OBS haven't been able to stream on my mid 2012 Macbook Pro laptop. Thank you

Honestly not sure what you're expecting OBS to be able to do on a 2012 MBP.

Tried it on my 2012 MBP, the broadcasting works. So it has been an internet issue the whole time, it's amazing what older technology can do after giving it some love.
