i have recently encountered a little problem that has been grinding my gears.
i started to stream a little DCUO today on my ps3, and the stream was really choppy.
i have tried many different settings and what not and still cannot figure out the solution.
i am a stream noob.
Halp :D
here is an example. http://www.twitch.tv/fetusgod/b/455810908

doesn't look bad for me at all tbh..
I saw a little screentearing, but that may just be me.

But other than that, post logs

im not able to use game capture for i am playing the game on PS3.
and the capture device i am currently using is not yet supported, so i am streaming the capture monitor.
would the reason really be the fact that i am using the Monitor Capture?

Is it not possible to Window Capture the capture monitor instead? With Aero Enabled, that is. Window Capture with Aero Enabled should perform at the same level of performance as Game Capture. Thing is, Monitor Capture is the slowest method of capturing in Windows 7 and should really be avoided unless there is no other alternative. So, let's work towards finding you an alternative.

Alrighty, so i have set up a Window Capture and such.
there is defiantly less screen tearing then before, but it is still noticeable.

Well, given the fact it's via a capture card and not actually played on the PC itself, there is no reason NOT to enable VSync. So, just enable VSync (in the capture monitor, on driver level, etc, etc, etc) to completely eradicate screen tearing altogether.

i believe i found the solution.
i had the resolution downscaled, and when i removed the down scale, the tearing went away.
and i already had vsync on most things on
so untl my cap device is supported on obs i guess im guna have to use this instead :D
