I was doing a local recording of several gamesand one of the games was Astebreed. Every other game recorded fine, but this one was only recording about 10-15FPS, even though the game itself was playing fine.
I started by using NVENC, but I was getting an error about too high CPU usage and the bit rate was fluctuating all over the place (it's normally locked at 25,000Kbps). I had updated my Nvidia drivers, so I thought maybe OBS just needed to be updated to work with NVENC again, and might be dropping to CPU/software encoding and just couldn't keep up with the high bit rate. So in the meantime I switched to QuickSync, which did eliminate the high CPU errors, but it was still only recording 10-15FPS. Once I stopped Astebreed and got to another game, the recording was fine again and locked in at 30FPS.
Attaching the logs from that recording. Any help would be awesome. This is the only game I've seen out of 50+ that I've used with OBS that has had this problem, so I'm almost positive that it's probably just something wonky with Astebreed itself. I have seen other people record it with no issues, though they might be going through a separate box like an Elgato or something.
