choppy recording but not in game

I've been trying to record Valorant and the recording doesn't seem awful but it does seem a little choppy. When I am playing, I have no performance impact what so ever. If I play on uncapped FPS then I am hitting on average about 310 FPS in game. I have a 144hz monitor and I have tried capping in game to 144, 180, 240 FPS and changing the FPS cap to one of those seemed to help maybe the smallest amount maybe. Just looking for someone to look at my log and see if they're any red flags or suggestions because I would like to have my recording just as smooth as my in game. Thank you!

1. Record to MKV.
2. The encoder is skipping frames because of CPU overload. Read about it at https://obsproject.com/wiki/General-Performance-and-Encoding-Issues
3. The version of Windows you are running has a limitation which causes performance issues in hardware accelerated applications (such as games) if multiple monitors with different refresh rates are present. Your system's monitors have 2 different refresh rates, so you are affected by this limitation. You can fix this performance problem by setting all displays to use the same refresh rate.

This problem is fixed in the '2004' release of Windows 10. Update your Windows.
4. Run OBS as Admin.
5. A slower x264 preset than 'veryfast' is in use. It is recommended to leave this value on veryfast, as there are significant diminishing returns to setting it lower. It can also result in very poor gaming performance on the system if you're not using a 2 PC setup. Do that or use NVENC for the encoder.
