Hello!
System:
Win10
i7-8700k
GTX-1080
Asus Z370-A
Corsair Vengence LPX 16Gb 3200Mhz DDR4 CL16
Kingston 2.5 Inch 120GB HyperX SATA III SSD Blue
Asus VG248QE
Both OBS videos where choppy. For comparison I simultaneously ran ShadowPlay and OBS. ShadowPlay was smooth 60fps while OBS was choppy. Quality for OBS is great but frame rate seems very low. I also left room for GPU by running it at ~86% and cpu ~52% but OBS still turned out choppy. I run my display at 144Hz and tried to change OBS FPS from 60 to 120 but still no change in recording. Also i have disabled preview in OBS. Best result so far I have with NVENC H.264 CBR 30000. I like OBS and would prefere it over ShadowPlay but i can't get it to record smooth video at 1080@60FPS. I am open to sugestions. Thanks!
