I bought an Elgato Game Capture HD and hooked it up to my Wii U and my PC for streaming. My PC is Windows 10, Intel Core I7-2600, 16GB RAM, 1TB Hard-drive, etc. I installed the most up-to-date software for my Elgato device from their website as advised in the instruction manual. I use OBS Studio for streaming and went about setting it up for use with my new Elgato unit. The video feed from the Elgato comes up fine in OBS and I set an appropriate delay on my mic (a HyperX Cloud II) to compensate for the Elgato’s slightly delayed video feed. My only problem is that the audio coming through my PC from the Elgato stream is choppy. My mic feed and video feed are fine, it’s just the game audio that stutters, both through the headset and through the PC speakers (tried both). I have no idea why this is happening and it severely reduces the enjoyment of the game for me. Any suggestions on why the game audio would be choppy, I could understand if it was a bit delayed or something from the video, but why would it be stuttering?
Would greatly appreciate any help. Thanks!
