"Check for updates automatically?" dialogue window won't go away

Hi all,

Simple bug. Using OBS Live (Intel app) on an Apple Silicon Mac. I'm on Version 27.0.1, and I keep getting this window, and clicking on either option does nothing.

Any help?

go to settings, general, and uncheck the box that says "check for updates automatically."
