Changng the deck background color

How can I change the color of my OBS deck (the area around the video). The default black color does not allow a good contract for me. Thanks.

Could you post a screenshot of which area you mean?
You can change the OBS theme in the Settings menu.

If you mean in the Preview, and have a video that does not fill the canvas, black will be the default. You can either resize the canvas to fit your video, or place an image or color source behind the video source to fill the unused space.
