So, my hardrive crashed a week ago, and before that my videos are called video #, which I found to best for mass records so I new which video came first. Now they called stuff like "2016 03 31 2016 16", which doesn't help me know which comes first.

How do I revert back to my videos being called videos #. I am using OBS Classic since the Studio version seemed to complex for what I wanted to use-my own private recordings for video games.

Thanks.

you do realize that the default filename is actually the date and time you clicked "Start recording" right?

Yes. I gathered. I just remember before my computer died, when I went to documents/videos, they were called videos #. I I want to know if there's a way, if any, can change it back to that.

If you specify a filename in the output path, all recordings after the first will have a number appended to the name. For example if you record and write a Video.flv file, then go back and make more recordings, you'll see Video(2).flv Video(3).flv etc. since the files can't have the same name. You can also mouse over the file output path to see the available variables:
