Have used 2 input cameras, one modern PTZ and one old home movie camera with OBS for several years OK. This morning updated OBS as requested by flag. Both cameras now have jerky input, both picture and PTZ motion - occasionally went OK for a few seconds and then back to jerky. Freezes of say 1/4 to 1/2 second. What can I do to correct this - urgent!?
Movie input from PPt on separate laptop OK.

Good day all

I have a similar problem .... I have used OBS omn my office machine for 2 years now .... resigned my job and got my own machine
today. Intel i5 , 8G Mem. Everytime I have installed OBS on an office machine I did not run the wizard and pretty much let OBS
run on its default settings.

However when I did it today, created a scene with one UBS camera ( A890 ... same I always used ) I get a camera feed that updates
+- once a second !!!

camera feed using windows' .."Camera" app is fine.

I would appreciate some guidance !!

Thank you in advance !

I disconnected the cameras, opened OBS and then re-connected the cameras to the PC. Most of the jerkyness has disappeared. When using the PTZ camera pan and zoom, the picture is still hesitating some but much smoother. This ver 29.0.2 still not as good as pre this update ver 28.1.2.
Still need help please as I dont want to go back a version!

Spoke too soon. Following day it went back to 1/2 to 1 sec jerks on all 3 cameras.
Will have to restore to previous version unless OBS team come up with a solution!

Nothing from OBS experts!
Copied over the OBS folder on my home PC to the church one as I can't find a way of downloading and installing the ver 28 from the OBS site. All cameras running OK except the OBS virtual camera. It is turned on but not outputting to our Zoom meeting. Anyone know how to correct this?
Screens in OBS, and OBS recording are fine.

It turns out that the latest problem was not with OBS at all but with Zoom software. Latest Zoom update yesterday put it right. Phew!
Still nothing from OBS experts on the ver 29 problem!
